The daring… The brave… The lovely…
Mayci Herebert
Where do I begin with this dynamite? Mayci is becoming a very, dear friend of mine since my move to Pensacola. In only a few short months, she has motivated me not only in photography, but in my life as a whole. She is an influence of truth and love, and I appreciate who she is and what she believes in, so much so, that I decided… “Yep, I wanna be her friend.” 😉 Mayci is a local photographer, like myself, and we decided we wanted to have a little fun at 6:45 in the morning on the side of a road… in a homeless man’s hangout. I was wanting a “forrest-y” look and to put it plainly, I was really missing my Texas roots when I saw these pines. They. Were. Perfect. Mayci endured and pressed on through the whole shoot as the humidity was weighing on each of us, and her “oh so fabulous” hair. Don’t worry. Texas taught me right on how to keep your hair BIG no matter the humidity. Mayci is true to herself, and I wanted these photos to encapsulate that exactly; just raw, genuine, life… in what feels like 100 degree weather. Here are MANY photos from our fun today, simply because I honestly.. could not choose a favorite.
