My mom is getting married! Back in January my mom asked me to take her engagement photos and I was so excited to do this! Especially because she was coming to me to take the photos in Raleigh and there are so many places I’ve been dying to shoot at downtown. Mom and Chris both really enjoy some good ole coffee, so I knew one of our spots was going to definitely be 42 & Lawrence. If you haven’t been there, make sure to add it to your list of one of the next places to visit once we’re allowed to go out and eat again! Chris is such a great man, he’s kind, he’s loving, he’s witty and he’s a man of God. All things which I know all of us siblings have prayed about for Mom to find in a partner after dad passed away. So we are eager to invite him into the family! I cannot wait for their wedding, which has sadly been postponed due to the current virus, BUT, we aren’t losing hope, they will be married soon and YES…. there will be cake had by all. Enjoy a few of my many favorites from the day. Did I mention that I had a baby less than a WEEK after we walked all over downtown Raleigh this day? HA. The goal in my mind was, “Hopefully I can walk this baby out of me!” ;). I really did enjoy this day so much, doing what I love, with the people I love on a cold chilly January afternoon.. and coffee.. perfection. 🙂
