This morning, that’s right THIS morning, I was able to get in touch with my newborn photography roots again. I emphasized that I took these this morning, because normally I go through about 10 photos and send a little sneak preview for my clients. But I couldn’t help myself with these images… I am in love with every single one for so many different reasons. Some of the reasons are as followed… for being a new wife and a new wife to a man in the military, for the fact that this baby is literally under five pounds, for rekindling the flame for newborn photography, for finding my style more and more everyday with each image I am able to capture, for the prayer that went into this photo session (yes ma’am and sir that’s right, I pray over each and every one of my clients before I set foot on location for every session), for trusting in God to allow my business to grow, as well as, my passion for this type of work, and lastly for the fact that I am having serious baby fever. HA! When I find myself having a hard time understanding the loss of one of my fathers, I will forever look back to these images… there is something to be said about a picture of a newborn baby, so much life, so much fresh-ness, so much hope for a beautiful future.
